Fatehpur Sikri

The Moguls built an incredible amount of things in Agra (same city as the Taj), it seems. We went to see a few of them:

We went to see Fatehpur Sikri, a mosque and royal city built by the great Jodha Akbar. The city was never actually used because of water shortage problems, but the mosque is still functioning.

Unfortunately for us, we chose a rainy day to go and had to bypass around flooded streets.

The Jamma Masjid (mosque).

A building in the abandoned royal city. No one is really sure what purpose most of the buildings were meant to serve.

Three rather wet tourists that I know.
